JUN 14 Pale lemon yellow. Apples, yellow fruits and floral notes, less flinty and smoky than Santorini examples. Fresh acidity, fruity, minerals, fresh and lively, bit tropical note, lovely balance, good length. 88

2013 Porto Carras Malagouzia
JUN 14 Pale lemon yellow. Light tropical note, grapey and floral nose. Fresh acidity, floral, grapes, elegant, just a bit short. Summer terrace wine. 86

NOV 09 Ruby. Dark fruits, spices, anise, leather and scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, cedar note, good length. 87

2003 Chateau Porto Carras Côtes de Meliton
NOV 10 Deep ruby, garnet rim. Really sweet and jammy nose, almost cooked plums and prunes. In the mouth however, much fresher, good balance and complexity, cherries and lots of anise, not too intense body, I have tasted better vintages, but somehow the finish makes up for it all. 86

2000 Chateau Porto Carras

SEP 10 Ruby. Cherries, spices, vanilla, dark fruits and liquorice nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruits, leaner, ripe morellos, fruity, spices, good length. 88

1998 Chateau Porto Carras
AUG 09 Rubinrød, tegl kant. Noe solbær, sedertre, godt med vanilje og noe hvit sjokolade. Fruktig med steinfrukt, kaffe og tiramisubunn. Knapt tanniner, ok syre og relativt lang finish. 88

1998 Porto Carras Limnio Cotes de Meliton
AUG 09 Gjennomtrukket kork, lyst rubinrød med tegl kant. Svakt krydret og noe bærfrukt. Lett intensitet i munn, fin syre, grei vin, men kanskje litt gammel. 82
