2011 Caymus Special Selection
OCT 13 Deep ruby. Rich, fruity, ripe, vanilla, cassis and blackberries nose, intense. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, edgy texture, feels like a barrel sample.

2009 Caymus Special Selection
NOV 11 Dark, almost purple, intense of licorice, coffee, cassis and blackberries, massive nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, easier palate, long finish. 93

2006 Caymus Special Selection
JAN 10 Deep ruby with purple rim, intense of coffee, liquorice, chocolate and fresh jam. Massive mouthfeel, ok acidity, ripe tannins, extreme fruitiness, sweet fruits and jam, alcohol is burning (15,5%), very warm finish, unbalanced.

2005 Caymus Special Selection
OCT 11 Dark ruby, ruby rim. Morellos, dark plums, cassis with a touch of coffee. Intense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant body, long finish. Needs time.

2003 Caymus Special Selection
NOV 09 Dark ruby, ruby rim. Very young still, blackcurrants, coffee, chocolate, mocha, incredibly complex nose, smells fantastic. Sweetish attack, strawberries, really intense blackcurrants, medium body and high fruit intensity, very clean fruit and a very long aftertaste. Great acidity, ripe tannins, long and very well balanced. Keep. 94

1994 Caymus Special Selection
JAN 10 Deep ruby, garnet rim. Lots of coffee, mocha, cassis and mature sweetish fruit. Really opened up after 30 minutes, sweetness disappeared, truly elegant, ripe tannins, fresh acidity, very long finish.
Wait another 5-10 years, will last long. 94

1993 Caymus Special Selection
NOV 09 Deep ruby, very complex, almost Bordeaux like nose, cedar, blackcurrants, coffee, hints of mocha and chocolate, medium body, very young still, great and fresh acidity, lots of ripe tannins, good fruit intensity, keep. 93

1992 Caymus Special Selection
AUG 12 Deep ruby. Ripe cassis, plums, intense nose, fruity, spices, vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, detailed, rounded, layered, spices and dark fruits, long. 93
