2006 Dominus
NOV 09 Ruby red, sweet plums, cherries, cool fruit, but still some sweet dark fruits and jam in the back. Ok acidity, ripe tannins, and lots of them, ok finish. 90

NOV 09 Deep ruby, lots of vanilla and floral notes, a bit closed, good structure, very young, ripe tannins, fresh acidity, some cooked jam, blackcurrants, liquorice and coffee. Should be kept. 89

2004 Dominus
SEP 12 Ruby, garnet rim. Floral, perfumed, cassis, vanilla, quite intense and up front, but elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, coffee and heavier notes. Rich palate, but manages to stay elegant. Long. 92

2002 Dominus
DEC 09 Deep ruby, some earthy tones, very Bordeaux like nose, just a bit more fruity. Great structure and balance, fresh acidity and ripe tannins, quite intense, coffee, mocha, white chocolate, cedar and blackcurrants. Keep. 91

JUN 16 Ruby. Dark fruits, blueberries, spices, floral notes, scented, faint cedar touch, incredibly tight, needs masses of air to open up. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, rounded, intense, dark berries, spices, juicy, concentrated, long, gorgeous length actually.  95-96

2000 Dominus
JUN 10 Deepish ruby, ruby rim, sweet plums, ripe red berries, blackberries and vanilla overtones, slight warm touch, complex. Good acidity, very good structure, a bit hollow mid palate, high of ripe tannins, bitter chocolate and coffee beans, slightly bitter finish. Good length. Needs time. 88

JAN 14 Dark ruby. Rich nose, spices, blackberries, cassis, leather and some coffee, starting figs in the back. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rich and rounded, dark berries and spices, some vanilla still, youthful, very long. 96

MAY 10 Ruby with garnet rim, closed first, some cedar, then medicine, later expensive leather, paprika, even herbs, fresh and cool on the fruit. Absolute perfect structure, fresh and lively acidity, ripe tannins, a bit hollow to be very picky mid palate, really needs another ten years, great length, and such elegance for a Napa, the by far best Dominus I have tasted. 95

1994 Dominus
DEC 09 Ruby with garnet rim, very elegant nose, cherries, tar, leather liquorice, sweet spicy notes, complex. Very soft texture, a bit dry and astringent tannins, I'm not sure it will come round. 88
