DEC 11 Amber. Dried apricots, raisins and sultanas nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, dried fruits, some marmalade, lacks some fruit, could be more intense. 89

1860 Leacock’s Sercial Solera
DEC 11 Dried fruits, malt and caramel nose. Fresh acidity, leaner and drying, lacks the fruit to balance the acidity. 85

1808 Leacock’s  Madeira Solera
SEP 09 Sliten etikett. Litt dull, dårlig kork som smuldret opp, indisk gul farge. Litt karamell, sitrus, creme brulée, pannekaker, Cointreau, appelsinmarmelade, mineraler, oksidasjon, tung, intens og allikevel fresh. Karamell, ok syre, men meget kort finish. Servert under middag hos Niepoort. 81

Leacocks Medium Dry Rainwater Madeira
NOV 13 Pale amber. Some dried fruits and nuts nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, rounded, easy going. 84

Leacock’s Rich Madeira
NOV 12 Pale amber. Some dried fruits nose. Fresh acidity, some dried fruits and nuts. 85
