I was on Barbera blind, others on something from Southern Rhône inexpensive something. I have tasted it before and remember a different wine, but I can't find a fault on this one. 89

AUG 10 A level fill, cork not too bad, Bright, very light garnet, think sort of redcurrant lemonade. Floral, tar, roses, some coffee and a touch of earth, good acidity, tannins almost gone, lean body but quite elegant fruit, way beyond expectations, , coffee and truffles in the finish, more fruity after ten minutes, held well for an hour. 90
