Anyway, tight, somewhat closed and astringent with apples and tight lemon/lime behind. Sharp minerals, focused, really needs five to ten years to relax its clamped jaws, long length. 91

NOV 09 Pale golden, exotic fruits, apples, pineapple, minerals, apricots. Very refined and even manages to have good acidity which I find a bit rare in 03's, even in Mosel. Long length. 90

Just such fabulous aromas, only starting to mature, minerals and schists, this mellow honey touch, then floral notes, roses, whiffs of petroleum and gas station, orange marmalade and maybe a single peach hiding behind. Such a gentle attack, it strokes your tongue, acidity is there but packed in velvet, such elegance, ends a bit bitter unfortunately. 90

NOV 09 Deep straw yellow. Powerful nose, some smoke and spices, some apples, then apricots and pineapples, even hints of honey and strawberries, it really shines with air. Now lime is joining in, sour cherries and even overripe gooseberries. Great acidity that just cleans, very complex, balanced and aftertaste for minutes. 94
