OCT 13 (Almost five percent of the entire production of this wine in this vintage was drunk at this event in New York!) Very pale salmon, tiny bubbles. Cool minerality, just a touch of red berries over apples, incredibly nuanced and subdued. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, refreshing, nuanced, delicate, perfectly balanced, superb, absolutely stunning, to drink this wine is an event in itself. It could just have been a bit longer for perfection. 96

I hope and believe it will become better, the 99 was quite like this when it was released, now it's starting to open up into something great. But I really do not understand this wine young. I cross my fingers. 90
