Almost like old Burgundy on the nose. Fresh acidity, some cherries, wild strawberries, figs, detailed, soft tannins, elegant texture, vibrant yet subtle and nuanced, long. Absolutely charming. 12,5 alcohol. 94

JAN 18 Bright ruby, thin brick rim, low neck fill. Dates, liquorice, exotic spices, some red berries, not too complex but what is there is fairly intense at least on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner body, some red berries, figs, not the most complex again, still alive but drink very soon. At its very best: 88
