MAR 17 Ruby, garnet rim. Blueberries, anise, plums, anise and mint, a touch volatile, even at 13 percent alcohol, you feel it a bit on the nose. Some may be charmed by the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, red berries, sweet and sour, volatile notes on the palate as well, has freshness but a bit hollow. Again a style many will fall for but there are issues in this one when you look closer. 87
